We find that most of the time, cancellations are due to unforeseen circumstances so rest assured we will be sensitive to that. If travel restrictions or illness inhibit your holiday, we will look to offer you the opportunity to move your reservation dates and therefore still have a trip to St Andrews to look forward too.
When making a reservation, we ask for a 50% deposit to secure your stay and then you won’t need to pay the remaining balance until 30 days before you are set to arrive.
If, for any reason, you then look to cancel your break with us, the below terms will apply:
– Cancellations 60 days or more before arrival are guaranteed 100% of the money paid back. It really is as simply as that!
– Cancellations 30 – 60 days before arrival are entitled to 50% of the money paid back or the opportunity to move your reservation to another time of year that suits your party better.
– Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable but we can always look to exchange for alternative reservation dates.

We’ve recently been awarded a 5-star rating from HomeAway for the way in which we’ve handled cancellations during the Covid-19 pandemic.
HomeAway have recognised that we offered full refunds, credits and flexible re-booking options to those who were due to be staying with us over the lockdown period. An approach we sought as it is only fair to give choice to customers in these strange times.
